The stay was mainly about exploring the local attractions nearby, like the Anne Frank House and the Rijksmuseum, which were just a short walk away. One thing I appreciated was the location, making it easy to access shops and eateries without straying far from my base. The communal showers and toilets were decent, even though they could use a bit more attention. The stairs were quite steep, which made moving around a bit challenging at times. my experience was shaped by the great placement for seeing the sights in Amsterdam, which I really enjoyed.

The location was a real gem, putting you within striking distance of major attractions and vibrant streets. The communal vibe with other guests made it feel a bit like a base for adventurers, ready to take on the city.
The cleanliness left much to be desired. I encountered mold around the room and a mouse scuttling past during my stay. To top it off, the bathrooms were in need of attention and the stairs leading up were steep and somewhat unsettling after a long day. It felt like a trek every time you wanted to get back to your room, and the shared facilities could certainly stand to be better maintained.

Friendly staff made us feel welcome and cared for!
The cleanliness of the shared bathrooms was unacceptable. I found them regularly dirty, and it seemed they weren't cleaned often at all. the noise from the thin walls was quite disruptive, as I could hear fellow guests coming and going, making for a frustrating sleep experience.

I stayed in a Double Room with Shared Bathroom for 4 nights. The location was great, but the cleanliness was a major issue. The room had stains everywhere and the bedding looked old and dirty. There was even a mouse that ran across the floor! Not what I expected for the price I paid. The staff were nice, but I mostly just wanted to leave as soon as I could.

Had a fantastic time with friends exploring the nearby parks and local shops. The room was cozy and tidy. The extra touch of having friendly cats around was a bonus! For future guests, expect helpful staff and a great location, perfect for wandering around the area.
One of my friends had a rough experience with noise coming from the nearby street, which made it tough to sleep at times. But overall, it didn’t ruin our stay.
